Let wobbly tables bother you no more. The Pocket Shim is a piece of cardbord the size of a credit card that's easy to take wherever you go. In seconds, it transforms from an unassuming planar sheet to a table-leveling machine!
At the first sign of a wobble, pull a Pocket Shim from your wallet, fold it up, and jam it under the offending table leg. Boom done!
Since a Pocket Shim is inexpensive and disposable, you needn't remember to remove it when you leave. Simply fire and forget and leave it for the next person to enjoy.
All prices include domestic (USA) or international shipping. Please select the appropriate option below:
Note: The shims that are delivered may differ slightly from the one pictured. Don't worry, they all work just as well.
The Pocket Shim is a thick piece of paper cut into the shape of an S. If you want to make your own shims, you can download a schematic showing the locations of the cuts and folds. Alternately, another version with partial cuts on the fold lines makes it easy to fold the paper in the right place.
To achieve the proper height, the paper should be about 0.020" (0.5mm) thick.
